Empoli FC will face Atalanta BC in a

"Today was a match to be taken with a pinch of salt, there was always the risk of being surprised, we had to be very precise," Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini said after his side's win over Genoa.
"Many teams, even famous ones, suffered certain situations against Genoa. If anything less, we are beyond expectations. I didn't expect a start with so many points, it's a balanced championship.
"I'm sorry for some games lost at the end that we could not have lost, this took away the possibility of still having a better ranking. But we have a top ranking, we had a really high performance and we hope to continue like this."
